چکیده

Drought stress significantly reduces the growth and yield of cotton plants; therefore, reducing damage caused by drought improving plant are highly important. The aims this study were to investigate some physiological biochemical properties plants exposed different levels determine extent improvement obtained exogenous glycine betaine treatment for damages adverse effects drought. Three created using PEG (Polyethylene glycol 6000) solution (0%, 10% 20%). groups also divided into 2 subgroups 0 (control: was not applied) mM solution. pot experiment established in a chamber with 3 replications repeated twice. changes contents chlorophyll b, carotenoid, total dissolved protein, carbohydrate nutrients investigated. Chlorophyll calcium, magnesium, sodium phosphorus concentrations decreased, while protein carbohydrate, potassium increased increasing level. results revealed that on alleviated application betaine.

effect of proline and glycine betaine application on some physiological characteristics in grapevine under drought stress

drought, as an abiotic stress inflicts destructive and harmful effects on plants at their different growth stages. plants react differently to drought. among their reactions is the production of such osmolytes as proline and glycine betaine. it seems that, through exogenous application of these materials, plant resistance to drought stress can be increased. therefore, a factorial experiment, ba...

The effects of glycine betaine and L-arginine on biochemical properties of pot marigold (calendula officinalis L.) under water stress

Pot marigold (Calendula officinalis L.) is widely used due to its various biological activities to treat diseases as an analgesic, anti-diabetic, anti-ulcer and anti-inflammatory agent. To ameliorate the adverse effects of water stress on this medicinal plant, foliar application of glycine betaine (GB) and L-arginine (LA) was ...

the present study sought to investigate the role of dynamic assessment (da) in improvement of iranian efl writing performance at different language proficiency levels. to this end, after conducting the quick placement test, 60 iranian efl learners were assigned to two groups with different language proficiency levels. in both groups each participant wrote two compositions, one before and one af...

effect of exogenous application of proline and glycine betaine on biochemical alterations in grapevine under drought stress

proline and glycine betaine are the most common compatible solutes that prevent plants from destructive effects of osmotic stresses by osmotic adjustment and protection of membranes, proteins and enzymes. it has been reported that exogenous application of these compounds, can increase plant resistance to drought stress. therefore a factorial experiment based on randomized complete block design ...

some properties of fuzzy hilbert spaces and norm of operators

in this thesis, at first we investigate the bounded inverse theorem on fuzzy normed linear spaces and study the set of all compact operators on these spaces. then we introduce the notions of fuzzy boundedness and investigate a new norm operators and the relationship between continuity and boundedness. and, we show that the space of all fuzzy bounded operators is complete. finally, we define...
